The clarity of the water makes Table Rock Lake a popular place for scuba diving. Diving equipment can be rented or purchased at the marina and beginning and advanced scuba courses are offered.
Regularly scheduled evening programs are held at the amphitheater Memorial Day through Labor Day. A seasonal naturalist provides programs concerning plants, animals, eco-systems and nature hikes. Check the park bulletin boards or contact the park naturalist for detailed information at 417-334-4704. Also contact a park naturalist to arrange special group programs or to use any of the natural resource sites. Group programs should be scheduled at least three weeks in advance, although shorter notice may be possible depending on staffing and other scheduled programs.
